The Yankees have claimed left-hander Brent Headrick off waivers from the Twins, while designating right-hander Owen White for assignment. Headrick, 27, joins the Yankees after a mostly lost 2024 season due to injury. The Yankees may convert him to relief work, as their bullpen currently has only one lefty. White, 25, was recently claimed by the Yankees and will now likely be traded or passed through waivers.
